10.1.12. Lighting and light alarm system

Headlights
Headlights incorporate:
- lamps of dimensional light;
- lamps of indexes of turn;
- lamps of passing beam;
- lamps of driving beam;
- adjusting devices (for initial installation of headlights);
- the electronic and mechanical proofreader (for adjustment of a tilt angle of a bunch of near and far light depending on loading of the car).
Inclusion of a dimensional set and light of headlights is carried out by the central switch of headlights. Switching of light of headlights (distant-near) and inclusion of indexes of turn is carried out by the understeering switch.

The initial provision of headlights is established by handles 3 and 5 (fig. 9.35). For adjustment of headlights depending on loading of the car in headlights the electronic and mechanical proofreaders allowing the driver to change a tilt angle of a bunch of near and far light are established. Change of an inclination of a light bunch is carried out by a makhovichok 1 (see fig. 3.2) the special electronic block on the dashboard.
At not loaded car figure "0" on the handle of management has to be combined with a tag "-" on the control unit case.
At completely loaded car "-" it is necessary to combine with a tag:
- figure "1" on the handle for buses into 8 (9) passenger seats;
- figure "2" for motor vans and buses on 12 (13) passenger seats.
Carry out correction of a corner of a light bunch of headlights change of provision of reflectors of headlights of the electric motor with the reducers and the watching system installed in cases of headlights. At turn the makhovichka of the control unit moves food in electric motors which through reducers turn reflectors of headlights on a certain corner.
The angle of rotation of reflectors is defined and controlled by sensors of the watching system depending on position of the control unit.

Adjustment of headlights needs to be made by means of the screen (fig. 9.36) in the following order:
- to check pressure in tires, if necessary to bring it to norm;
- to install not loaded car at distance of 5 m from the screen;
- to turn the handle of management of the electronic proofreader in situation "0";
- to turn on passing beam;
- to adjust light bunches the handle 3 (see fig. 9.35) and the crosswise screw-driver through a nest 5 serially for each headlight.
At the adjusted headlights the horizontal site of light-and-shade border has to be combined with the X—X line (fig. 9.36), inclined sites of light-and-shade border have to correspond rice. 9.36A (with marking on the AL lens) and fig. 9.36 B (with marking on the OCBAP lens), and points of intersection horizontal and the beginnings of inclined sites of light-and-shade border — with lines G — G and D—D.
In use it is necessary to watch serviceability of lamps. Lamps with the darkened flasks need to be replaced.
For replacement of lamps of near and far light and a dimension it is necessary to uncover 4 and 7 — see fig. 9.35 (on a part of headlights these covers can be united in one. For its removal to turn the spring holder).
For replacement of lamps of indexes of turn to turn the boss 2 lamps.

Preventions
1. Lenses of block headlights with marking of "OCBAP" are made of plastic therefore cleaning them from dust and dirt with use of various fuels, other active agents and liquids, and also dry rubbing by brushes and rags is inadmissible.
2. At installation in a headlight of a halogen lamp it is impossible to touch by flask fingers in order to avoid decrease in a light stream or destruction of a flask in use.


Central switch of light
The central switch of light has three fixed situation. When moving a rod it has to be fixed accurately. The effort of movement of a rod has to be within 10 — 45 N (1,0 — 4,5 kgfs).
Maintenance
Check of the switch is made by means of a control lamp according to the scheme of electric equipment of the car. In provisions I and II of a rod and its turn the lamp 3 clockwise has to light up; at turn of a rod counterclockwise the lamp 3 has to reduce the brightness, and at an emphasis to die away.
Power failure size on conclusions of the switch should not exceed 0,01 B at loading 1,0 A.
Switch of indexes of turn, light of headlights and sound * signal
The direction of turn of the car is specified by the blinking light in forward and back indexes of turn. Inclusion of indexes of turn is carried out by the switch located under a steering wheel. When moving the lever indexes of the right turn, down — left join up. Movement of the lever of itself or from itself carries out switching of light of headlights. Movement of the lever of itself to unstable situation carries out short-term inclusion of headlights (for a signalizaiiya).
When moving the handle along an axis of the lever joins sound сигнал*.

* On a part of cars the sound signal joins the switch of a screen wiper and windscreen washer.

The switch consists of the mechanical drive providing manual inclusion and the switch intended for connection of electric chains of alarm lamps with a current source.
At combustion of a spiral of one of alarm lamps the frequency of blinkings of a lamp of a signaling device increases twice.

Violation of clearness of inclusion and lack of light in indexes of turn can result from a podgoraniye of contacts of the switch, and also owing to malfunctions of lamps and their cartridges. For elimination of malfunctions previously be convinced in good repair lamps and their cartridges. To make change of lamps only at the switched-off switch of indexes of turn and the switched-off switch of the alarm system. Check correctness of operation of switches 3302.3709100 and 1102.3769 with the help of a control lamp on schemes of connections, according to shown in fig. 9.37 and 9.38.

The effort of movement of the lever has to be in limits of 5 — 25 N (0,5 — 2,5 kgfs). Power failure on conclusions has to be no more than 0,3 In at current 5 A.
If the switch works incorrectly, replace it.

Breaker of indexes of turn and alarm system 494.3747
The breaker of indexes of turn and the alarm system 494.3747 is used to creation of a faltering operating mode of indexes of turn. The breaker provides a faltering operating mode of alarm lamps with a frequency (90±30) cycles in a minute. The breaker has function of control of serviceability of alarm lamps. At burn-out or lack of contact on one of alarm lamps at inclusion of indexes of turn the breaker provides a faltering operating mode of a control lamp with a frequency of 240± (30) cycles a minute.

The breaker belongs to not repaired products. Serviceability of the breaker should be checked according to the scheme for fig. 9.39. If alarm lamps do not burn, burn constantly or not with the specified frequency, it is necessary to replace.
Stoplight switch

The switch of a stoplight is installed sideways from a brake pedal. Serviceability of the switch can be checked by means of a control lamp according to the scheme for fig. 9.40. At a switch rod vystupaniye on 15 mm the control lamp has to burn, and when pressing a rod (vystupany 10,5 mm) the lamp has to die away. Power failure on conclusions of the switch has to be no more than 0,1 In at current 6 A.
To replace the faulty switch. At installation of the new switch to adjust its installation on an arm. Alarm lamps of a stoplight have to light up only after the choice of a free wheeling of a pedal.
Backing light switch

The switch of light of a backing (fig. 9.41) serves for automatic inclusion of light at the movement as a backing. The switch is installed in the transmission and mechanically connected to the gear shifting lever. At the relevant provision of the lever the switch connects a chain of lamps of a backing to a current source.
During operation it is necessary to check reliability of fastening of the switch periodically. Check of the switch can be done by means of a control lamp. The lamp has to light up at the course of a ball of 1 — 2 mm. To replace the faulty switch.
Switch of the alarm system

The switch of the alarm system 24.3710 is checked according to the scheme for fig. 9.42. In the switched-off situation the lamp 1, in the included situation — 1, 3 and 4, and also in the switch handle has to burn.
If one of lamps does not burn in the relevant provision, replace the switch.
