On the dashboard (fig. 3.1) the following governing bodies and devices are located.

At not loaded car figure "0" on a makhovichka of the control unit has to be combined with a tag "-" on the control unit case.

At completely loaded car "-" it is necessary to combine with a tag:

— figure "1" on the handle — for buses into 8(9) passenger seats;

— figure "2" — for motor vans and buses on 12 (13) passenger seats.

5. Lever of the switch of indexes of turn, light of headlights and sound сигнала*. The lever has six fixed provisions — I, II, III, IV, V and VI and four unstable provisions "A" (fig. 3.3 and 3.4).

If the lever of the switch is in situation I, and the handle 26 of the central switch of light — in situation II, then passing beam of headlights burns. If to move the lever to situation II — driving beam of headlights burns and the signaling device of blue color lights up. At numerous movement of the lever of the switch from situation I on itself along a steering column (the situation which is not fixed) there is an alarm system driving beam of headlights. When pressing the lever button (from any its situation) along an axis the sound signal * (without fixing) joins (fig. 3.3).

When moving the lever from situation I or II up situation VI or IV (the right turn) or down in situation V or III (the left turn) join indexes of turn and on a combination of devices the green blinking signaling device lights up.

The switch has the automatic device for return of the lever to situation I or II after the end of turn. For short-term inclusion of indexes of turn the lever of the switch needs to be transferred to the relevant unstable provision "A". At an otpuskaniye the lever comes back to situation I or II.

6. Switch of ignition, starter and anti-theft device (switch of devices and starter). At the provisions of a key shown in fig. 3.5:

0 — everything is switched off, the key is not taken out, the anti-theft device is not switched on;

I \ignition is included, the key is not taken out;

II \ignition and a starter are included, the key is not taken out;

III \ignition is switched off, at the taken-out key the anti-theft device is switched on.

For switching off of the anti-theft device insert a key into the switch of ignition and, slightly shaking a steering wheel to the right-to the left, turn a key in situation 0.

7. Lever of the switch, screen wiper, windscreen washer and sound signal **. At the provisions of the lever shown in fig. 3.6 and 3.7:

0 — the screen wiper is switched off;

I \small speed of a screen wiper is included;

II \high speed of a screen wiper is included;

III \faltering work of a screen wiper is included.

If the switch of a sound signal (fig. 3.6), then by movement of the lever of itself is not installed in the switch (in the direction of an arrow) from situation 0 quickly join a smyvatel and a screen wiper.

If the switch of a sound signal (fig. 3.7) is installed in the switch, then for short-term inclusion of a washer and a screen wiper the lever of the switch needs to be translated from situation 0 from itself (in the direction of an arrow "A"), and for inclusion of a sound signal — to transfer the lever (from any situation) to itself (in the direction of an arrow "B").

Windscreen washer can be included from all provisions of the lever. The screen wiper works only at the included ignition.

8. Switch of the alarm system. At the included situation in the blinking mode all four lamps of indexes of turn and a signaling device (red) in the button (fig. 3.8) of the switch of the alarm system at the same time burn.

The alarm light system needs to be turned on at the compelled car stop on a carriageway for the purpose of the notification of drivers of other vehicles and informing technical services on stay on the road of the motionless car.

9. The switch of the left number of plafonds of illumination of passenger salon (for buses).

10. The switch of the right number of plafonds of illumination of passenger salon (for buses).

11. The switch of a plafond of a back row of seats of a cabin (for cars with two rows of seats).

20. Ashtray. Removal of an ashtray is shown in fig. 3.9.

For cleaning of an ashtray open it (having pulled on itself), press down the spring limiter and take out an ashtray from a nest. For installation of an ashtray into place it is necessary to release the spring limiter.

21. Lighter. For use of the lighter it is necessary to press its handle and to release. Return of the handle back with click means that the spiral of the lighter was heated. Repeated turning on of the lighter is allowed not earlier than in 30 sec. after its switching off. At the taken-out lighter it is allowed to establish a fork of a portable lamp in its nest.

22. Lever of the parking brake. For a zatormazhivaniye of the car it is necessary to pull the lever up; at the same time, if ignition is included, then on a combination of devices the signaling device 9 lights up faltering light (see fig. 3.15). For return of the lever to a starting position it is necessary to press the button at a lever handle end face. At a disinhibition the signaling device dies away.

23. Transmission lever. In the transmission there is a blocking from casual inclusion of transfer of a backing at switching off of the 5th transfer. To include transfer of a backing after a car stop. At inclusion of transfer of a backing in back lamps backing light lights up.

The scheme of gear shifting of the transmission is shown in fig. 3.11.

26. Central switch of light. The switch has five the fixed provisions (fig. 3.12):

0 — all external lighting is switched off;

I \the dimensional light, illumination of a combination of devices, back registration plate and some governing bodies of electric equipment are turned on;

II \are in addition included passing or driving beam, depending on situation (respectively I or II) the lever of the understeering switch of indexes of turn and light of headlights;

III \in addition (from situation I or II) forward fog lights are included (is established by request);

IV \in addition (from situation III) the tail fog light is turned on.

29. Handle of the mechanism of fixing of a column of steering (fig. 3.13). When moving the handle of itself and up (within 80 °) occurs rasfiksirovany columns then the steering wheel can be established in situation, convenient for the driver, and to record in it, having installed the handle in a starting position.

33. Cowl lock handle. For opening of a cowl it is necessary to pull the handle on itself until the latch opens the lock and the cowl a little is slightly opened, and then again to move the handle forward to the full. For full opening of a cowl it is necessary to take away a hand the safety lock established on the lower forward edge of a cowl (fig. 3.14).

On a combination of devices (fig. 3.15) the following devices are shown.

At a serviceable control system the signaling device lights up after inclusion of ignition and continuously burns during 5 — 10 sec., then dies away. It indicates readiness of system for launch of the engine. Various burning of a signaling device in the movement indicates failure of some elements of a control system of the engine.

3. Signaling device (red) anti-blocking system of brakes (ABS). Is established on the cars equipped with ABS

6. Signaling device (red) emergency falling of level of brake fluid. Lights up at decrease in level of liquid in the feeding tank of the main brake cylinder below admissible.

9. Signaling device (red) turning on of the parking brake. Lights up the blinking light at inclusion of ignition if the car is slowed down by the parking brake.

11. Signaling device (red) engine overheat. At fire of a signaling device it is necessary to stop the engine and to remove the overheat cause.

15. A signaling device (orange) the minimum reserve of fuel in a tank. Lights up at the fuel rest in a tank less than 10 l.

16. Signaling device (red) emergency pressure of oil. Lights up at inclusion of ignition. At the working engine fire of a signaling device at the minimum frequency of rotation of a bent shaft of the engine in the mode of idling is allowed or at sharp braking. With increase in frequency of rotation of a bent shaft of the engine the signaling device has to die away. At fire of a signaling device in normal traffic conditions it is necessary to stop immediately the engine and to check oil level in a case.
