It is necessary for removal of a steering wheel:

- to remove an overlay of the steering mechanism;

- to turn off a nut of a steering wheel, to remove a lock washer;

- to make a tag on a nave of a steering wheel and at a shaft end face for definition of their mutual situation;

- to remove a steering wheel by means of a stripper (fig. 7.4).
