Maintenance of ZMZ-4061,-4063 engines has some differences in comparison with maintenance of ZMZ-4025,-4026 engines.

At operation of ZMZ-4061,-4063 engines it is not required to make tightening of a head of cylinders.

Application in the drive of valves of hydraulic pushers excludes need of adjustment of thermal gaps between valves and pushers, and application in the chain drive of camshafts of hydraulic natyazhitel excludes need of a tension of chains.

Care of the lubrication system of ZMZ-4061,-4063 engines is similar to care of the lubrication system of ZMZ-4025,-4026 engines.

At service of system of ventilation of a case of valves it is uncovered and washed out without dismantling of a maslootrazhatel. Other operations are similar specified for ZMZ-4025,-4026.

Care of the cooling system of ZMZ-4061,-4063 engines is similar specified for ZMZ-4025,-4026 engines. Difference consists that on ZMZ-4061,-4063 engines one belt of the drive of auxiliary units is applied. The tension of a belt is made by change of provision of a tension roller. For this purpose it is necessary:

- to weaken a bolt 3 (see fig. 4.131) fastenings of a tension roller;

- 6 to establish by a bolt of movement a roller 4 in the situation providing the required belt tension;

- to tighten a bolt 3 fastenings of a roller.

Control of a tension is exercised by a spring dynamometer on the type shown in fig. 4.36. The belt deflection on the site between a pulley of the pump of cooling liquid and a pulley of the generator has to be 13 — 15 mm at load of 80 N (8 kgfs).

Care of a power supply system, the drive of butterfly and air valves, air and fuel filters, the fuel pump and the carburetor, and also behind systems of recirculation and production of the fulfilled gases is carried out the same as for ZMZ-4025,-4026 engines.
