Replacement of the hinge of longitudinal steering draft needs to be made in the following order:

- to rasshplintovat and turn off nuts of fastening of steering thirst for a bipod of the steering mechanism and to a rotary fist;

- to vypressovat fingers from conic openings by means of a universal stripper (fig. 6.25) or to beat out the hammer through copper laying;

- on the press by means of the basic plug 1 (fig. 6.26) to vypressovat the hinge from draft with application of effort to a finger with a nut, previously navernuty to end face level. At the same time the protective cap 4 from the hinge case is at the same time pressed;

- to clear a nest surface under the hinge in longitudinal draft;

- to press the new hinge in longitudinal draft by means of the basic plug and a press heel (fig. 6.27);

- to take a new protective cap and to put on it the case and a finger of the hinge by means of a universal stripper and a washer (fig. 6.28), previously having put in it from 1 to 1,5 g of lubricant;

- to record a cap on a finger a lock ring. At assembly of the hinge not to allow mechanical damages of a rubber cap;

- to install draft on the car in the sequence, the return dismantling.

To carry out replacement of the hinge of cross steering draft in such order:

- to rasshplintovat and turn off a nut of fastening of the hinge to the lever of a steering trapeze;

- to vypressovat a finger from a conic opening of the lever by means of a universal stripper (see fig. 6.25) or to beat out the hammer through copper laying;

- to turn off a bolt of a collar of steering draft;

- to curtail a tip since the carving end of draft.

Further replacement of the hinge is made in the sequence specified for longitudinal draft.

The sizes of the interfaced parts of a forward axis and steering drafts are specified in tab. 6.4.
