Forward and back suspension brackets of motor vans and buses (fig. 6.1, 6.2, 6.3) are executed on longitudinal springs with hydraulic shock-absorbers.
In a forward suspension bracket over the main spring the rubber spring of compression is established, in a back suspension bracket over the main spring the additional spring (in a back suspension bracket of buses instead of an additional spring the rubber spring of compression is established) is established.
Forward and back springs of cars on length are asymmetrical (from a center bolt to an ear).
At installation of forward and back springs shorter end has to be turned forward.
In a suspension bracket both low-sheet, and multilaminated springs can be used. In case of need dismantling of springs greases their sheets before assembly with graphitic lubricant.
Fastening of the forward ends of springs to a frame is executed by means of rubber-metal hinges, the back ends of springs — by means of rubber-metal hinges and earrings. The inhaling of their nuts should be made for the correct operation of these hinges at the straightened springs.
Care of a suspension bracket consists in periodic check of fastening of springs, shock-absorbers, nuts of step-ladders.
