Coupling of diaphragm type (fig. 5.8) is established in the same cases with the lower hatch, as couplings of lever type, for ZMZ-4025,-4026 and UMZ-4215 engines, and for the engine 3M3-4061 — in a continuous bell-shaped case. For its installation instead of coupling of lever type on ZMZ-4025,-4026 engines fixing openings on a flywheel are located, as shown in fig. 5.9, and under a spherical support of a fork of switching off of coupling the washer with an outer diameter of 22 mm, with an internal diameter of 11 mm and 4,5 mm thick is established. The conducted disk differs from the conducted clutch plate of lever type (see fig. 5.2) in the increased sizes of frictional slips (the outer diameter of 240 mm, internal — 160 mm, thickness of 3,5 mm) and details of the damping device, quantity of springs and coupling fingers, and also a form of lamellar springs.

Fig. 5.11. Details of a drive plate: 1 — a casing; 2, 4 — basic rings; 3 — a press diaphragm spring; 5 — press a disk; 6 — connecting plates

The casing with a press disk assembled consists of a casing of 1 (fig. 5.10), basic rings 2, a press diaphragm spring 3, a press disk 4 and connecting plates 5. The casing of coupling of 1 (fig. 5.11) is fixed on a flywheel of a bent shaft of the engine by six aligning special bolts. The effort of a press diaphragm spring 3 creates necessary friction force on surfaces of frictional slips and provides torque transmission from a flywheel through press a disk 5, a casing 1 and connecting plates 6 on the conducted disk and a main shaft of the transmission.
The press diaphragm spring represents the dish-shaped truncated cone having at the expense of cuts in the central and internal part twelve petals which carry out a role of levers of switching off of coupling.
External uncut part of a press diaphragm spring is clamped between two basic rings 2, 4 at the expense of a zagibka of twelve short moustaches executed on a casing 1. At their zagibka the press spring on special adaptation has to be recorded in a flat state. Basic rings carry out a role of the hinge concerning which there is a turn of an external part of a diaphragm spring when pressing the ends of petals. An external part the diaphragm press spring leans on a ring ledge of a press disk and wrings out it towards a flywheel. Connecting plates 6 (three groups on three plates in group) one end of a priklepana to ledges of a press disk, another — to a coupling casing. To their help there is a torque transmission from a casing on press a disk and withdrawal of a press disk from a flywheel aside at coupling switching off.
The casing with a press disk is assembled balanced by installation on a flange of a casing of special balancing small weights or drilling on diameter of 273 mm in a flange of a casing of openings with a diameter of 9 mm. An admissible imbalance — no more than 10 g · see. For removal of a casing with a press disk assembled it is necessary to remove a coupling case on ZMZ-4061 engines or the lower hatch of a case of coupling on ZMZ-4025, ZMZ-4026 and UMZ-4215 engines. The casing with a press disk assembled in use is not under repair, at failure it needs to be replaced with new.

Fig. 5.12. Adjustment of the ends of petals and check of press effort: 1 — a flywheel; 2 — press a disk; 3 — a washer

At absence on a casing with a press disk of visible damages: nadirs, ring flutes, prizhog and development more than 0,3 mm on a working surface of a press disk, iznos of the ends of petals of a diaphragm spring more than 0,3 mm, etc. it is necessary to check an arrangement of the ends of petals of a diaphragm spring and its press effort. For this purpose it is necessary to fix a casing with a press disk assembled on a working surface of a new flywheel (fig. 5.12), having placed between them three evenly located washers 8 mm thick. The size from a flywheel end face till the ends of petals has to be (43,6±2,0) mm. The deviation from situation in one plane has to be within ±0,25 mm, if necessary — to turn in petals.
When moving the ends of petals of 8,5 mm withdrawal of a press disk has to be not less than 1,3 mm. To move the ends of petals down on 10 mm and to remove washers 3. To measure effort on the ends of petals, releasing them before receiving distance between the plane of a flywheel and a press disk 6 and 8 mm. In both cases the effort has to be not less than 2 kN (200 kgfs).
